for rendering the autocad 3d drawing, which one will be the best rendering software and how to add credit in online autodesk rendering.
Usually, when I render 3d model from autocad, I use Keyshot. It is important to have valid layers in autocad when you model, so you could change texture in keyshot. That's my way :)
I don't understand question. Haven't used credits in autodesk.
Hi, I'm new user on the comunity, but an old fish in Cad (30+years using it)
What kind of render are you in? (model size, complexity, final quality required)
Internal render command in autocad maybe is not the best of the best, but
maybe the final result most of the time it is worth the time employed...
Nope, haven't used that one. Hopefully someone else can clarify that for us both :)
For rendering you should export your AutoCAD 3D or any 3D software model in Navis works. It is only a display software. You can create a movie or walk anywhere model. Change the colour and also make JPEG photos. See the entire cement plant by following the instruction at Cement plant layout - a navis works presentation < https://grabcad.com/library/cement-plant-layout-a-navis-works-presentation > or see the auto cad files 19 nos from < https://grabcad.com/library/1-cement-plant-limestone-stockpile-stacker-reclaimer > to < https://grabcad.com/library/19-central-control-room-main-gate-1 > I have broken this 6000 tonnes per day cement plant but having a common "X" and "Y" axis.
yes for working directly with Autodesk dwg files there is nothing easier for me than with Navisworks. All my pictures in my profile were created using Navisworks
It is very good to use navis works. It's easy. See this walk any where model of a 6000 tonnes per day Cement Plant. Cement plant layout - a navis works presentation < https://grabcad.com/library/cement-plant-layout-a-navis-works-presentation > You can only do this type of work on navis works. Of course I have broken this Cement plant into 19 drawings for people who want to download this plant. The axis 'X' and "Y" remaning the same.
AutoCAD has internal rendering engine. It gives not much beautiful results, but still quite good to have it.
Hi everyone, Personally I only use the AutoCAD module for textures and lights.
