I always believed uploaded work must be from own hands (according the GC rules and guidelines)...Therefore I have reported these models several times....what happened?? Nothing!! It seems GrabCad is happy when members upload company based models... links are added in the modeldescription, SO????? www.traceparts.com www.mitsubishielectric.com https://www.belaruslaws.com/p-391033-gost-25930-83-standard-rb.aspx Why does GrabCad not act?? (SPAM!!) Why do people upload company based material?? Did money changed from owner?? Is there anybody who understands this???
> Therefore I have reported these models several times
I have checked our reporting system now but couldn't find any report from you regarding these models.
Could you please remind me when did you report, so I can have a look?
Yasin, please believe me, I have reported lots of these models in the past...nothing happend..and now you are asking me WHEN I reported them???
The plain fact is that these models keep appearing very frequently, simple as that...2 AC servomotors with a link to www.mitsubishielectric.com and 1 linear movement from www.traceparts.com just today and I know many more will follow...
I've reported that account on several occasions over the last half year.
From the guidelines:
DO NOT:
He's not taking credit for them, but he is certainly uploading work that isn't his. He's uploading configured STEP files from OEM websites without any personal alterations.
I believe you, I just couldnt find them.
Could you (or Steven) please send me the link to this account in private message?
Will GrabCAD invest in verification system?
Loading is slow for my account. I'm guessing loading this is probably a whole day?
PM Sent.
As requested.....
This is not the place to complaint about speed.....
I'm comparing to volume uploaded.
All's quiet now...so it seems uploading company based 3D material is allowed, cause GrabCad takes NO further action...
If you upload work with no clear notification and a proper and full link regarding the original author of that work, you upload that work as your own and take credits for that work....or am I wrong??
No, I agree with that. It's just that the rule from GC is not clear enough what constitutes uploading work as your own. It only talks about other GC members' creations. It doesn't say anything about OEM, which I think it should.
Do not take credit for work that isn’t yours. Posting any work that isn’t yours will result in an immediate removal of the model from GrabCAD.
These words from the GC rules and guidelines are quite clear...So if a members uploads a model that is not from own hands, it will be removed by GrabCad....Unfortunately GC doesn't enforce their own rules anymore...That is why we are surounded by a bunch of "thieves" who frequently upload work from others as their own...Why???? I don't know....Is it to impress future employers??, (a stupid thing to do) or just to "tickle" their own private parts?? (SAD!!) I don't know and don't care...GrabCad should do as they have promised in the R&G......Models should be removed and in the end also the accounts from the thieves if they keep uploading work from others....Simple as that!!!
Reaching out to GrabCad's support team is a nogo...The responce from the team is zero...nothing!! The only one from the GC team who reacts is Yasin when he reads into these posts....for the rest..Nothing, Zero,
I believe this is the main reason the GC library is poluted with lots of material from companies and from the other 3D websites...
Frelan is a bot.
Hey Yasin,
It's been a week. Any movement on this?
Movement....more models from www.mitsubishielectric.com Uploaded May 6th, that is 6 days after the original post....So, instead of GrabCad acting, the uploading from company based models just goes on...
I don’t see any problems with a person posting models from companies if he provides links to their placement.
The only question is why GrabCAD and their servers need this.
You might not see a problem, but it is simply not allowed according the GC rules...simple as that.
I understand the problem and Abe solved it successfully. At least all those moments when I turned to him, as in the theft of my and other people’s models, spam, extremist and political posts.
As for the companies, they are probably happy about this and I will be very surprised if it is not they themselves who are posting it through third parties.
The whole question is that GrabСad does nothing and does not follow its rules, but as the Russian proverb says: "Кот из дома. Мыши в пляс" / “The cat is out of the house. The mice are dancing.” Apparently this suits them.
Looks like GrabCAD blocked your ARGUS Chassis. I can see it in your featured models, but clicking it goes to a dead page. If I look through your library, it doesn't show up at all.
Perhaps this is Yasin's work. I see the page
See pic down
And what has happened with the company based models???? Nothing!!!! Although these models are a violation, GrabCad decided to do nothing.....I wonder why??? did money changed from owner?? I don't know, but it is weird, very weird!!! ...and see...more members think it is OK to upload lots of material from other 3D websites....
And more.......What is not clear about the statement, "models must be from own hands" and why does GrabCad not act???
Hello (USER),
It has been determined that some (or all) of your uploads have been items from manufacturers or other websites and not your own unique work. This violates our community guidelines. As such, all of the uploads found in violation have been removed.
If you find this decision to be in error, please reach out with an explanation of why these uploads did not violate the guidelines and we may consider a reversal. For your convenience, the guidelines can be found here:

Feel free to copy and paste that Yasin, unless you don't intend to actually take any action.
