i need some help for drone design basics. i'm interested on it.
All the info related to drones is in these links

You can use my designs free, for starting.
See my model files.
I designed and built all.
All of them have tested ok.
The airframes are based on standard carbon tubes for strength and rigidity.
They fly well with both kk2.1.5 or Naza Lite controllers
Well, if you have matlab I have designed an algorithm about the hovering flight - time with respect to the battery properties and the quadrotor weight. If you don't have Matlab I recommend you visit my personal profil in Researchgate
The second chapter is all you need.
How do you account for all of the variations in propeller design?
Do you mean the variations of the propellers? There is an extensive database from University of Illinois
http://m-selig.ae.illinois.edu/props/propDB.html
In my thesis I have used a particular propeller, but the methodology could be followed for every one, according to the database.
I have a 5 inch propeller designed and up on my account, also have a 2205-2300 kv motor both built to scale on my profile for download, feel free to download.
I've modelled this receiver for your designs. I would be very grateful if you like my models. Thanks!
Please, like this model for keeping working in drone components, I appreciate your likes and comments so much.
Thanks!
Very good information, however very outdated. Great to see how the very first drones were made.
I love that receiver, It works great!
