I need help to define the formula for the curve of a bended helical spring.
I hope, that the screen shots (two attached files) shows the problem, to find a solution for creating the bended helical spring by using a formula defined curve.
My current model of the bended spring shows a deformed wire cross section, which does not correspond to reality.
The parameter of the unbended spring:
Neutral winding diameter = 60 mm
Wire diameter = 15 mm
Pitch = 15 mm
Neutral length = 450 mm
