Screen #1 shows the P3 interface. It's used with the most advanced workbenches in CATIA. (I've never used it and never saw anyone else use it either)

Screen #2 shows the P2 interface. This is the interface that most CATIA users use.

There is also a P1 interface for the entry-level of CATIA.  (I've never used it, but I think it has the same screen layout as P2)

You can choose which CATIA interface to use in the Tools + Options + General section. Or you can go to Start + Programs + CATIA + Tools + Settings Management and choose a interface there.

What is wrong with this question from Ramesh? I've seen this question asked many times by new users who mistakenly have started CATIA with the wrong option.

Why get annoyed and threaten to remove the question? Did you not yet have your morning coffee?

What wrong with this question..iam a new user to catia. Just I ask my clarification that's All.I didn't ask this ques to u ...k....if u know means explain...no need to worry abtmy questions

Sorry but I'm agree with Jose, first we look on the site and really if you don't  find then you asks.

But since this blog is in place, there are only questions from people who don't seek and who don't want to look for ....

there are surely more important and interesting themes

I have been using V5 for about 3 years now and have not once seen this option, so I would also be confused if one day I were to open and see this, although I don't even have the option for P3 interface it looks like. I have seen many worse questions than this...

That's weird to me, I assuming you have a legacy software, if not, you have to ask to you vendor or so.

Right, my work has been using CATIA for decades, and it is customized to fit our needs. So it is possible that they even disabled that function from the beginning.

Tools - options - general - then, select p2 instead of p3
