How to make this in generative shape design/ surface design using catia V5?
Please explain the steps in a bit detail as I'm new to Catia and I can't easily figure out things and how to use features. I'd be grateful if I can get the catia file for this design.

This simple part can easily be modeled in solids with the CATIA Part Design workbench. It can also be modeled as surfaces with the Gen Shape Design workbench but it will not be easy and will take 10X the effort.
As a solid, it looks like a couple Pads and a few Pockets. One tip is to add the inside diameters at the end of the model.
Why don't you model it, Its a very simple thing.
