How to select O ring size for dynamic application

Please help me how to select O ring dimesion if i have standard rod diameter for application .

for example rod diameter is 34.28mm . Applicaion is dynamic like i have to bring out male part ( rod ) couple of times in day ) .

i need calculation for inner groove dimesion for o ring and o ring od / id / cross section will be 3 mm .
