is there tool that converts image to solidworks model?
hi,
i asked chatGPT, googled, looked into some ai websties, failed to find a tool that can do it without charging me or irratating me.
do you know any software?

A picture only has 2d data. Solid models require 3d data. There is no tool to automatically convert a 2d picture to 3d data. It requires a lot of manual input by an operator interpolating and guessing at the 3d data.
I have traced 2d isometric drawings and accurately recreated the 3d data but it still takes a lot of effort and cannot be done automatically.
Manual Tracing in SolidWorks:
1) Insert the image into a sketch (Tools > Sketch Tools > Sketch Picture).
2) Manually trace the outlines using sketch tools.
3) Use features like Extrude or Revolve to create a 3D model.
