I am a mechatronics engineering student .as a final year project . me and my team are working on a project cnc based multi color pen plotter .and we need a simple and effective pen changing mechanism which have to be simple and have to hold pen tight with simple hoding system . an my friends i need to hear you suggestion.

I have designed a multiple sharpie holder from 2 to 5 markers (in 1x unit increments) for a previous customer.

For your request, two pieces of information are needed:

Brand name, model and "end effector" of CNC machine. (picture and dimensions of cnc will help also, if it is a regular chuck-tool holder, max and min holding diameter plus shank depth will be suffice)
length and OD at 3x different positions of multi color pen being used, to design a holder based on that.
