Solidworks to Ansys Workbench | Import Solidworks Files to Ansys | Solidoworks to Ansys | CADable

0 0 Beginner
Welcome back to CADable! This is Engr. Ibrahim Omer. In today's tutorial, we'll learn how to import files from SolidWorks to ANSYS. We'll start by modeling a rectangular plate with a hole in SolidWorks and saving it in IGES file format. Next, we'll import this IGES file into ANSYS Workbench. Using the Static Structural module, we'll connect the SolidWorks geometry to an ANSYS static structural study. I'll demonstrate how to use Design Modeler, although you could also use SpaceClaim. We'll import the CAD geometry, ready for any CAE purpose. Chapters of the tutorial: Introduction: 0:00 Creating rectangular plate: 0:28 Save as file to IGES format: 1:38 Opening Ansys workbench 2:23 Importing file in Ansys workbench 2:40 Ansys static structural and linking of geometry 2:58 Editing geometry in Design Modeler 3:13 Conclusion: 3:52 Whether you're a beginner learning the basics or looking to hone your skills, this tutorial is perfect for you. Practice is key to mastering these techniques! Use the play-pause technique for effective learning and feel free to ask any questions in the comments. I'm here to help! Steady Simulation of Bifurcation and Turgo Turbine Tutorial on Ansys CFX

0 0 Beginner
In this video, you will learn how to simulate bifurcation and a Turgo turbine using Ansys CFX. I will cover geometry setup, boolean operations, naming, meshing, and physics setup. In the results section, I'll demonstrate how to extract contours, visualize streamlines, and use the calculator function to calculate torque.
