Where are you collecting it from? Are you trying to pick it up while it is on a belt conveyor, or falling through a chute… Usually magnetic separators work the best, but there are many different types.

It's impossible with "a type of a rod, pipe, plate, or a type of material to suck or attack" if it is not magnetic.

You want to recover it: even more difficult.

If it may be destroyed: with microwaves.

If the mineral fraction to keep is heavier than the fine particles: a wind sifter, but then also the minerals with that same weight are blown out, and the metals heavier than the settings, stay in the mixture.

Further there are vibrating sieves etc ... put not simply by a 'rod'

Hi Bob, its precious metals in general platinum group metals.

you could use electrolysis to pull the metal from liquid. Use a similar metal as the positive and any metal for the negative. You could also use a micron screen filtering to remove contaminants from the liquid.

I don't want to use any liquid or chemical, just dry systems

Unless it is ferrous materials in a pure form that can be separated with a magnet, there is no dry process using some special material that will separate it out.
